LB3 FAQ

UNLV Rebels Mascot What is the LB3 Program?

The LB3 program is an innovative fund raising initiative made possible by former UNLV Head Basketball Coach Lon Kruger, and being continued with the support of current coach Dave Rice, where funds are pledged and received for every three-point shot made by the UNLV Runnin' Rebels men's basketball team.

Why was the LB3 Program developed?

The LB3 program was developed through the outpour of community love and support for Lindsay Bennett, a local UNLV architectural student and Rebel Girl whose life was suddenly taken as a result of a tragic automobile crash.

What will the LB3 funds be used for?

The LB3 program will assist the Lindsay Bennett Memorial in sponsoring vital programs in the community that will raise awareness, responsibility and respect for life. These programs include but are not limited to: the Every 15 Minutes Program, "Follow Your Bliss" scholarship and a UNLV endowment scholarship. See the Making a Difference section for more information on our contributions.

How can I join the LB3 program?

There are several ways you can help. Under the Pledge Program tab you can make an individual pledge for every three-point shot the Runnin' Rebels make during the upcoming basketball season. Another option is to make a flat donation to the Lindsay Bennett Memorial by clicking on the Make A Donation section under Your Participation section.

How does the LB3 program work?

LB3 donors will pledge an amount of their choice for every three-point shot made during the Runnin' Rebels basketball season. At the end of the season you will receive an invoice with your total donation due.

Is there a minimum pledge amount?

Donors can pledge as little as 10 cents per three-point shot.

Can I make a flat donation?

Donors can make a flat donation by clicking the Make a Donation button under the Your Participation section.
